Your Guide was a former Disneyland history Tour Guide who has a great passion for Walt Disney and the magic he made for the world. On this fun-filled 10-hour tour, you’ll discover details, stories, and endearing trivia about Walt Disney’s time in Kansas City, Marceline, and his magnificent life. We’ll drive by some of Walt’s Kansas City landmarks before heading to his boyhood hometown of Marceline, Missouri, where we’ll visit points of interest that connect Walt to the small town he called home.

In Marceline, we’ll visit the Walt Disney Municipal Park and the site of the Midget Autopia, stop by the Walt Disney Elementary School and the Olympic flagpole, the house Walt and his family lived in, and the replica of Walt’s Barn in Burbank, you’ll have time to go through the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, and walk the original Main Street, USA where you’ll enjoy lunch at your choice of Marceline’s restaurants.

A Disney fan’s trip to Kansas City isn’t complete without visiting Walt Disney’s hometown of Marceline, Missouri.

Important Additional Information:

If sufficient number of tickets are not sold, tour will be cancelled and money refunded.

Guests under 18 must accompanied by an adult. Children under 8 (including infants) are not admitted. Unfortunately we do not offer a lower ticket price for children.

Ticket Sales are Final:

Much like concerts or live performances, Tour tickets are non-refundable, as we must pay for the tour bus in advance. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your tickets to another Walt Disney fan – just email us with the name(s) of the new passengers.

Parking & Pickup:

Parking at Union Station has three options:

Union Station Parking Garage is $23/day (directions)
Upper lots are $15/day:
- South Plaza (directions)
- Triangle Lot (directions)

Bus Pickup:

The bus will depart promptly at 9:00am from Union Station Kansas City from the bus loading area here.

Under no circumstances will departure be delayed. There are no refunds for late arrivals or no-shows.

Walt Disney Hometown Museum:

The highlight of any trip to Marceline includes a visit to the Walt Disney Hometown Museum, which you’re encouraged to visit during the Main Street USA stop. The tour is not affiliated with the Museum, and as such, does not offer tickets to the museum – however, all tours will happen during Museum hours and tickets are readily available at the door. The Museum will be informed of the tour, so they’ll be aware that you’re coming.
